About Reeves Digital

My name is Cindy Reeves, and I am the owner of Reeves Digital Development. I have been a computer geek for more decades than I care to admit, programming in BASIC when I was only 9 years old. An early adopter of the World Wide Web, I had my first website up by 1995. My affair with computers continued through the years. In 2007, when asked to volunteer "a few weeks" to code my own content management architecture, I thankfully discovered and soon fell in love with the beauty and power of Drupal. I now focus primarily on building Drupal-powered sites which allow my clients to manage the content of their site without having any advanced computer skills.

I spent 6 years at a Fortune 50 company learning best practices in marketing and e-commerce. I left to start my own website development business, adapting and applying my experience and skills for large corporations to the needs of small organizations. Many of my clients are unaware of what a site can do for their business, and my greatest strength is being able to translate their needs into an effective site, guiding them in what is possible and best suited for their situation. Being a provider my clients can trust to ensure their success online has always been my number one goal.

When not working, I can be found spending time with my family, collecting dinosaur fossils, and volunteering at my children's school.

If you really want more details...

  • I have 16 years of Internet-development experience. My skills and practical experience include content management systems (primarily Drupal), HTML5, Dynamic HTML, mobile delivery, JavaScript, Perl, CGI and PHP programming, Microsoft Access and MySQL databases for dynamic web sites and web applications, video editing, Flash movies and graphic design (including animated graphics). I am just now delving into the world of iPhone and iPad apps.

  • I also have extensive marketing experience: previously I worked for Hewlett-Packard/Agilent Technologies in marketing. I began as a Marketing Coordinator, and within 5 years became an E-Commerce Manager. These experiences, along with running my own business, enable me to provide my clients guidance in determining what will make their website successful in meeting their objectives.

  • I am fully competent in creating interactive web sites such as community sites, online stores, dynamically-generated database sites, searchable sites, and other Internet-based applications. I have a passion for numbers and love to analyze website statistics to call out interesting and pertinent data. I can also provide print marketing materials (such as newsletters and e-newsletters, postcards, brochures, etc.), custom freelance scripts, digital photography, print-on-demand books and of course training upon request.

  • If there's anything you need that I don't have the skills for, I have an extensive network of graphic artists, photographers, copywriters, and programmers. Please look at my portfolio and project archive for a better idea of the skills and abilities we have to offer.

About Billing

Initial consultations are always free, and I offer as much advice as I can. My goal is to enable you to do as much as possible, leaving me free to focus on the more advanced (and fun!) development projects. Discussing options and developing plans are typically free, provided I'll be working with you to carry out the plans. Projects are defined with proposals and costs ahead of time. On-going maintenance is billed at $75/hour. Invoices are typically sent out the first of every month with payment due within the month. Invoices over $500 can be broken down to deferred payment plans. Cash, check, and credit card are available. Bartering is encouraged.

We work with a variety of hosting providers, but our favorite host is Pair Networks. If you click on this link and sign up your account with them, we get a small referral fee. And don't worry, you aren't charged any extra!

We host our streaming videos with a variety of hosts as well. When videos are not appropriate for YouTube, we like to keep our videos hosted at Imediasee, a more cost-effective solution than Amazon AWS for clients with only a few videos.
